A book i have recently read is The Power of Five Evil Star.
My book was about a young boy called Matthew Freeman who is called up by a group called the Neuxus and he goes to a church trying to get a book and he is sent to Peru and he is set up and he is trying to get his friend Richard back he meets a new friend called Pedro.
My favourite scene was when Pedro used his slingshot and hit 3 police officers to save Matthew.
The book would be suitable from 10 years onwards as it is a really long book for the younger ones to read.
The book was really good it was a good storyline for a book i thought it was good that Matthew and Pedro had found Richard.

The book I read is called "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" by J.K.Rowling. The book is about a wizard boy going to a wizard school for his third year. He shortly finds out that someone who escaped from Azkaban, wizard jail, is trying to murder him. He goes through his year very aprehensive. He learns that the person to trying to kill him ishis Godfather. I liked this book because it was always making you think what's going to happen. It is really well described and thought out. Ialso liked the character Hagrid. Hagrid is the Grounds Keeper of Hogwarts and also the teacher of the subject "Wierd and Wonderful Animals" He is kind to Harry and his friends and he keeps all sorts of magical creatures. I think the book is suitable for a child aged about 7-16 years old.

The name of my book is Missing Girl By Sophie McKenzie.
The book is about a girl called Lauren and she is desperate to know more about her past, but when she discovers she may have been kidnapped from an American family when she was a baby. She feels like her life has just crumbled. Also Lauren runs away from her family to find out the truth, but her journey takes her into more and more danger. She then discovers that the people that abducted her will do anything to keep her silent.
I liked the book a lot as it was very interesting and exciting. My favourite part of the book was when Lauren and her friend Jam Jumped into a car asking this random woman to take them to an Adoption Agency, Lauren the realised that it’s Sonia the woman that supposedly snatched her.
The reason why I liked this part of the story as it was a frightening and it made you just as scared as the people in that part of the book were.
This book would be suitable for Teenagers as the book isn’t a children’s or an adult’s book. Also I enjoyed it so much that I say it’s suitable for people around my age group 13-16 years of age.

Francesca Falls In Love With This Boy after A Party And They Kiss. At The Same Time Her Family At Home Is Drifting Away, Her Mum Is Ill And Francesca Doesn't Know The Cause.
I Thought This Book Was Quite Good As I Could Relate To It Very Well. My Favourite Character Was Francesca Because The Things She Done And Thought About etc Reminded Her Of Me. I Liked The Chapters Of When They Were At Parties As They Were All Teenagers Having Fun And The Parties Remind Me Of The Kind Of Parties I Have Experianced In My Life. The book I have been reading is called “I was a rat or Scarlet Slippers” by Philip Pullman.
The book is about a couple who one night were disturbed by a small boy at the door. He claimed to be lost and said “I was a rat.” They brought him in and sat him down next to the fire and the husband called Bob went and got him some warm milk and bread. When he gave the boy the food, he snatched it and stuffed his face. The wife called Joan went and got a cloth and cleaned him up…………
I liked reading this book because it gave a lot of good descriptions and the characters were well described. My favourite character was the boy who was called Roger by the Husband and Wife because he thought he was a rat which is just silly, but the book was really good.
I think this book would be suitable for ages 7+ as it isn’t a huge book and there aren’t a lot of difficult words.

A book I have recently been reading is doing the Double by Alan Durant. The story is about two twins one who plays for a football team and then gets injured and his twin has to help his other twin’s football team to win the cup. I liked the book; I liked the bit where Joe scored the free kick. I think the book is suitable for 5 year olds upwards. I thought the book would have been better if it actually showed you if Dale and Joe joined the youth squad of a big football club. Dale swap places and Joe says the ball hit his hand when he put Blackstock up 2-1 but he went over to the referee and protested and said it was hand ball. Smithy and Joe’s dad the football legend Nicky
Green went to the Merton’s managers office and told them that him and Dale swapped and because he told the truth about the handball so the Merton Manager never complained and the match was replayed

The book is called “Beware Killer Tomatoes” by Jeremy Strong.
Jack a boy in the story is in trouble. Big trouble. Not only is he in hospital, but he knows the police are coming for him. Because of an accident a tomato-related accident. Who could have thought tomatoes could be so dangerous!
The book I have been reading is an interesting funny story. My favourite part is where jack tells us about his accident. His mum told him to go to the shop and get some bread. He goes round on his new mountain bike. When he is in the shop he gets a basket and he sees the pyramid of tomato soup. It was a competition “Guess how many cans were in the pyramid” and you could win a holiday. There was a man counting them trying to win, but Jacks basket hit the pyramid and it fell on the man. Jack jumps back on his bike and cycles away and hits a car and breaks his leg.
I enjoyed reading this book as it was amusing. The characters were well described and very interesting.
I think this book is suitable for ages 8+ as it is a very funny book and children of that age would enjoy it.

A series of unfortunate events
A bad beginning
Daniel crainie

My book is called A series of unfortunate events it’s about 3 children that lose there mum and dad in a terrible fire. A man that worked in the bank at town was the man that kept there fortune his name was Mr Poe. After the fire Mr Poe took them to his house and helped them to have a home food and water. Then one day Mr Poe told them to bag there bags there getting sent to a mans house to stay. Now they were orphans. The 3 children’s names are sunny that’s the youngest one that likes to eat and bite things theirs Klaus that likes to read a lot of books and get good information
And last but not least violet she was the oldest of the 3 orphans she liked to invent things that other people haven’t even thought about. The 3 orphans get took to a house were a man called count Olaf lived his house was all smelly and untidy like no one had even lived there for years. There was a lady next door with a lovely house and she was in her garden planting flowers the orphans looked at her house and thought that was there’s but the women pointed to the smelly house and shouted that’s were u have to go in a polite manner.
My favourite bit in this book is when they have to do a play so Count Olaf has to Marie violet but it’s not just a play it’s a real marriage so he can get the orphans fortune. I think this book is suitable for children over the age of 10 because it has a lot of reading in it and big words that some people will not understand. I think people that don’t like sad ending should put this book down and pick another one because this book has a lot of parts that are bad and it starts of bad and ends bad.

The book i recently read was called'The Runner' and it was written by Keith Gray.
The book is about a ten year old boy called 'Jason' and he is fed up with his parent's arguments, so he decided hewould run away from home and live with his big brother at his house in Liverpool and go there bytrain. On the way there he met a young boy that is also ten and his name is 'Jam'. Jam is a runner as well and he shows Jason lots of other runners on the train and at the end he gets to his brothers house.
I liked the book because it was ineteresting and exciting.
I think this book is suitable for 5+ because there aren't any signs of bad language in it.

The book i have recently read is called MUTANT by Theresa Breslin. The book is about a group of scientists, trying to find a way of growing legs, arms, hands or feet back when they have been amputated or blown away.I really liked this book because it had good cliffhangers and good description of what was going on.My favourite part of the book was when Brad was locked in the locker room. This book is suitable for over 10 year olds and likes cliffhangers.
