'Noughts and Crosses' by Malorie Blackman
'Noughts and Crosses' has become a bit of a classic of science fiction. It is science fiction in the vein of '1984' or 'Brave New World', in other words it is set in a future society where things have gone horribly wrong. This society is brutally segregated (the Noughts on one side and the Crosses on the other) and the story involves 2 people trying to bridge the divide. This book is very relevant to our own society today. The story can be read as a tale about poverty, prejudice and sectarianism, as well as an exciting action thriller. It is the first of a trilogy.

PRIVATE PEACEFUL BY MICHAEL MORPURGO.
This is an excellent book. I loved the way it was written. It was exciting trying to work out where the amin character was and why he was there! I don't want to give too much away but it was really interesting.
I enjoyed finding out about the first world war and I would recommend his book to read.
My favourite character was Charlie. I thought he was very brave and loyal.
Gymnastics =) This book was very intersting and had a lot of detail and pictures. It was very esay to read this book and very fun

I would recommend this book to people that like books with a lot of mischief in them.It was a great book and I would read it again.

This book tells you informatin on the bestplace to fish, the best type of fishing rod and it gives you information on fish.
I have recently read a book called Manchester United Annual 2007. It tells you about the 06-07 season where Manchester united only won one trophy and that being the Carling Cup (League Cup). But it brought out the best in some of Manchester United's young players who had just broke through the academy such as: Sylvain-Ebanks Blake, Jonny Evans and Guiseppe Rossi who has now moved to play with Spanish team Villareal as he was hoping for more first team football. It also saw Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo show the united faithful why they should stay at the club and for there efforts they were awarded a new 5 year contract each! This was a really good book and i would reccomend it to all Man United fan!!!!!

I have just read a good book about Kilmarnock and it told you the best games, players, wins in there history and much more. I thought the book was good because i suppport Killie and it's good to know about the history. I would give the book a rating of 7/10. Ripley's Believe It or Not 2007 is an amazing book. It has loads of info about loads of people who do or have done wacky stuff. I t has more that just stuff on people but also animals and anything else tha is interesting.
It has world records, crazy stories, amazing people and much more.
I recommend this book to everyone because its very funny and some of the stuff is completely amazing.
I have read the book .. Marshmallow Magic and the Wild Rose Rouge by Karen McCombie.
This book is about a girl called Lemmie Ferguson and her sister .. Rose,she is 18 years old.Lemmie looks up to Rose .. like an idol,a best friend..but after a while .. things start to change !
Lemmie and Rose are very happy girl with nothing to worry about..well.. until then at least.They had their own way of looking at the world ..and they thought that there should be nothing to worry about.They had lots of different things to say about their way of looking at things like..'Marshmallow Magic' .. he rlife was Bright,Fun and Happy.(until then at least !)
When Lemmie was younger her life wasn't soo good or happy.It was dull,unhappy and sad.She got bullied by a girl called Sian.
She needs Rose Rouge to help her and to get the sparkle and happienest into her lifee.. but she can't find her anywhere !!
She helps Lemmie with everything.
