'Noughts and Crosses' by Malorie Blackman
'Noughts and Crosses' has become a bit of a classic of science fiction. It is science fiction in the vein of '1984' or 'Brave New World', in other words it is set in a future society where things have gone horribly wrong. This society is brutally segregated (the Noughts on one side and the Crosses on the other) and the story involves 2 people trying to bridge the divide. This book is very relevant to our own society today. The story can be read as a tale about poverty, prejudice and sectarianism, as well as an exciting action thriller. It is the first of a trilogy.

"Bec" by Darren Shan.
This is a very good fiction book that would interest a lot of people that likes horror type books. It is a very exciting book with really interesting characters in it and has lots of gory scenes. My favourite character is called "Bec" because she is the main person in the book and the story is about her and her friends that is trying to stop evil.

Horrible Histories Special France by Terry Deary
This was a great book for people who like history and france.Some of the catchphrases were really funny.Some of the facts were interesting and it told you all the kings of France.The quizzes are fun to do.The titles are also funny.Some of it is quite grusome like it tells you cures for some diseases and they are disgusting.I would reccomend this book to anyone who like the other horrible histories.If you haven't read any i suggest this one first.
The Suitcase kid', by Jacquline
Wilson is a very intaresting book to read and i realy enjoyed reading it because sadie (the suitcase kid) realy helps her mum because she is ill and likes to explore all of the childrens mums works. She helps the childrens mums out to but at the begining of the day theres always something that goes wrong but 1 of the kids always saves the day.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K Rowling
Thgis is the final book in Harry's adventures. Dumbledore has left Harry, Ron and Hermione a task to complete. Harry has to find Voldermort's horcruxes. My favourite part was the battle at Hogwarts. My favourite character is Hermione because she always knows what to do. It's an amazing book and you should definietly read it. Once you satrt you can't put the book down.

This book is an adventure book with a boy called JP who buys a game boy game which is no ordinary game it's a reality. JP is a great character who is hooked on game boys and has played almost every game in the world and is really good. This book is excellent.
'Driftwood' by Cathy Cassidy
This is a book about a girl called Hannah. Her best friend is called Joey. One day Joey's family adopts a boy called Paul. Paul goes to secondary school and tries to fit in with other students but Hannah's big brother, Kit, and his friends start to bully him. Then one day, Paul goes missing. Will Hannah and Joey ever find him?
This is a book for all aged girls. I would definitely recommend it. 10/10.

this was a very enjoyable book makes you feel as if you are there with the characters would read it again very interesting book this book was all about the war and three children who where sent to the countryside to live with there uncle .lucy finds a good hiding place in a wardrobe where she goes into a magical place called narnia
Narnia the lion the witch and the wordobe. Is a great fairy tail book it is suitable for fist and second year that is my opinion.
P.S.- this was written by c.s.lewis for anyone who would like to read the book for them self and it has a fantastic ending.

I found this book very interesting and it tells you lots of facts and it has lots of pictures and diagrams on how the war was fought
KOYASAN by Darren Shan
Koyasan is a book about a little girl called Koyasan who is afraid of The Graveyard, but when her sister is taken into the graveyard by the spirits she has to overcome her fears and fight the spirits.
My favorite bit in the book is the fight in the graveyard it has loads of description.
my favorite character is Maiko because she is funny, It is a good book and you should read it.

This book is about world war one.It tells you about trenches,submarines and about life during world war one.I enjoyed this book because it has good quizzes and has funny pictures.I think people who like history will like this book.

In the book George wants to make a new medicine for his grandma and he goes all around the house and puts everything and anything in a big pot and gives it to his grandma. She grows and grows right through the roof and they need to get a crane to get grandma out.
I think the book was quite funny the way George speaks to his grandma.My favourite character is George.
I think this book is a bit childish but some people still might like it.

This book is part of The Chronicals of Narnia. It isn't the best book you would read but it has quite funny characters in it. My favourite character is called Puzzle. He is a donkey. This book is suitable for younger aged people. Read it you will like it.

A great thriller story by Philip Pullman. It's a great book with loads of high tension drama. It will leave you on the edge of your seat! 10/10.

This is a very funny book about a boy called Hector who has a talking brain tumor. The brain tumour is called Henry, he gives Hector advice on clothes,haircuts and snogging the best looking girl in school.
I recomend this book to people who like a laugh but not to younger readers because of explicit language.

this story is about a horse called skylark and her baby foal called hummingbird who became the favorite of the half moon ranch. untill tragedy strikes when a freak snowstorm reached half moon ranch that traps poor skylark and hummingbird but the only one who can save them is their carer kirstie but it is to late for poor little hummingbird who is burried under half a tune of snow and as for skylark is now a lonley horse with only kirstie to go near as her foal has gone but is still happy on the ranch with kirstie.

This book is about a boy called Ben who had a virtual friend called Rory Polestar. One day
the fuse went and Rory was gone then his dad's friend Vince strted a shop called mr v.r.where you could use virtual games in the shop.Then he sees the game rory pole star, he puts it on but after a feew weeks Rory turns the power off and he is stuck in rory's world. But Vince's wife had turned the power off in the shop and when they turned it back on Ben appeared in front of his dad in the shop.
i really enjoyed the book and people should read it.

I found this book interesting.It has good pictures in it.The book is about Peter from Narnia.In the book he fights in a battle.I think that you will like this book if you like Narnia.

Charlie is a poor boy who lives with his mum, dad, and 4 grandparents. One day, there is a headline in the newspaper that Mr Willy Wonka has hidden 5 golden tickets in 5 different Wonka bars all around the world. The prize is a life-time supply of chocolate and a trip inside the famous chocolate factory. Within weeks 4 of the 5 tickets have already been found. Charlie's hopes are just about to smash when he finds some money in the drain. Charlie picks up the money and takes it to the chocolate shop. Will Charlie find a golden ticket?
This is a great book for all ages.

This was a brilliant book about a boy called Arthur Hobhouse who is being evacuated from England and is going on a boat trip to Austrailia.On the boat he gets bullied by boys and a boy called Marty helps him.When he gets to Austrailia it isn't what he thinks the placxe he is at is a farm called Coopers Station and is scared by his guardian.It is a great book and if you are interested in evacuation read this.

This book is about a boy called Skid. He always moves school because his dad is trying to find Skid's mum. He is always lying about things to make him cool but people find out about the lying.

This book was about a boy that was bad at painting then he done is art homemowrk and made a mess of it.Then he started to make up for it and he became very good at it.I don`t think that it was very good a don`t think that i would get this book again.I don`t think it was all that good.
I have just finised reading "Island for Sale" by Anne Collins...It is an adventure book.They are three people.The man caharacter is Duncan.He dosen't have all money for the electricity bill for his Scotish castle.He feels very unhappy.One day a rock star and his girlfrend come to see the Duncan castle.I like this book because I like adventure.Are they going to buy the castle or not?If you interesting in Scotish Island read this book.

There is a boy called Jake and he has a sister called Hannah. Jakes think his mum and dad like Hannah better than him . One time Jake didn't wake up and Jakes mum and dad was being more likable . and at the end Jake and Hannah did like each other .I liked the story because it was differant to other storys . I liked it when when the man from the comic was holding Hannah and Jake and Hannah was working to gether Hannah bit the man and ran away .I think this book is suitible for a ten year old and up and i think it can be for male and female.I give this book a six out of a rating of ten

The book I have finished reading is a non-fiction book all about France.
This book has got all the facts of France. It tells you about the climate, popular holiday destinations and famous landmarks.
The most famous landmark is the Eiffel Tower located in Paris. The book also tells you about the mountain ranges. The most famous one is the Pyreenes mountains which has the famous mountain Mount Blanc, the highest french mountain.
This book is perfect for doing research on France and people interested in different countries. A good read.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl.
This book is about a young, poor boy called Charlie, who finds a golden ticket in a chocolate bar to go to Willie Wonka's chocolate factory for a day. Charlie is a polite and kind boy who has got a chance to win a special prize at the end of the tour along with four other children. On the other hand Willie Wonka is a strange person who makes strange types of sweets that can last for ever or flavours you have never heard of. The main characters are Charlie, Willie Wonka and Charlie's papa.
You won't beleive what happens at the end of the book but i'm not going to tell you, you will just have to read it for yourself. It is a funny book and is very enjoyable. This book would be suitable for people at the ages from 7 to 14.
You should read it as soon as possible.
Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz
This is one of a collection of books.The main character is Alex Rider.In the beggining Alexs uncle died.His father and mother also died when he was young.He finds out his uncle is a secret agent,he thoght his uncle worked in a bank and Alex has to take over from his uncles last mission.He gets to use gadgets and has to save the world.this was a brilliant book and the rest of the collection is brilliant you should get this bok.

This is a great book that will intrest anyone who likes to read fiction books.The book has some pictures in it.Some of the book is funny.The book is about Charlie after he has won Willy Wonkas chocolate factory.They are going to the chocolate factory then something strange happens.The book is really good and interesting.Get it if you think you will like it.

The book is the third in the demonata series. The book is about Grubbs Grady and him his uncle and his cousin BILL-E. One day tye get invited to star in a movie called Slawter. Once they are on teh movie set people start disappearing and they find out that demons are killing them.
My favorite character is Grubbs because he is funny.
My favorite bit in the book is the Big fight at the end of the book because there is alot of action at the fight.

I found this book very good and funny.The detail in the book that the author has put in makes the book very interesting to read.I also found the pictures in the book are funny and make you get an idea what James is seeing.

This is the first harry potter book of seven.This is one of the best and has a great storyline.Harry is an eleven year old boy who is hated by his aunt and uncle Dudley.Harry the finds out he is a wizard and is accepted into Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry.this is a great book and if you like fantasy read this book.

I Kiked This Book Because It Was Funny And I Wanted To Keep Reading It. It Was About This Boy Called Charlie Who Went To A Chocolate Factory. There Are Small Orange People Called Oompa Loompas They Work In The Factory. When They All Go There Is Lots Of Children There And Bad Things Happen Like One Of Them Turns Into A Giant Blueberry.

This book told me about all of the different types of shells.There pictures were very interesting and it showed all the detail i never knew that there was so many different shells and creatures that lives in the shells.My favorite type of shell was the Imperial Harp(page170) and the Rose Branch Murex(page108) and the Troschels Murex also on page 108.The book was very edaucational and i learned that there was well over 500 different species of shells and the book was very straightforward and simple to read i really enjoyed it. If you are very interested in shells and sealife or if you aren't really that interested you will like this book so read it you will like it.

I have just finished reading this book and i have to say I enjoyed it alot. The book is about a man and an old man.One of the old man's eyes is a blue eagle eye. The younger man is scared of it and tries to find a way to murder him. I strongly recommend reading this book.

I have just finished reading Stormbreaker by Anthony Horwitz.
This is a great action type book that a lot of people would like. A boy called Alex Rider's guardian dies and nobody knows who it was.
Alex Rider is 16 years old and still goes to school. He has been asked to go to secret training with SAS. He learns to use guns and other cool things.
This is a good book and you should read it.

This book was about a little boy who moved shcool and house because he was being bullied and he had to make new friends but again he just got bullied.He has no friends and he lives a couple of months pretending to his mum and dad that he had alot of new friends and he was getting popular
but he was far from it.He could fell himself getting closer to the edge andone day things change and he sticks up for himself.

THIS story is about 2 boys go to a grand opening at a science center and end up going in a rocketship and go into outerspace untill rory vanishes and ben cant find him anywhere untill they go back but ben gets locked in the center and noone knows that ben is locked in untill bens parents findout that he is missing untill they check the center and get him home.

This book by Jeremy Strong is about a boy whoose parents are Grade 3 vampires and he really wants to the Christmas Disco but his parents have to come to.I really enjoyed this book and I read another one of his books.
Harry Potter an the Half Blood Prince by J.K Rowling.
This book is about a boy called Harry Potter who tries to destroy an evil person called Voldermort. Harry's friends tries to help him as well as his headmaster gives Harry private lessons on how to defeat Voldermort. I won't tell you what happens at the end of the book but it is an extremely good book. I would recommend this book to people at the age from 7 - 15 years old.

My book is on harry potter and the order of the phenix it is trooly one of j.k. roweling's best books she has ever ritten in my opinion. this is a maknifisint book my favourit part was when harry discovered that lord voldemort can hear his thoughts and can see what he can see.

I have just finished readin my book called mines fine which is about a boy who has got a horse and he ofter goes to the stables. One day roy was on his horse and two nice young ladies came over and he was having a friendly chat with them so he said would you like to see me on my horse called Rosie. The girls said ok then so he went on his horse and the horse was going really fast and roy was falling off the horse and the girls laughed and by the time the horse had stopped the girls were quite far away and he shouted "YOU CAN COME BACK ITS OK." But they just kept walking on and laughing louder and louder. and i really liked this book and i defanetly would read it again. =)=0=( ....x

Tittle-Whats the difference in fish?
Author-Stephen Savage
This book was fish and all the different types and the most common fish.The book was very interestin to read as it was was straight forward because the paragraphs were not absolutely huge and and they were all very clear.I learned from this book thatmost fish have Swim Bladder to help them float and that a Puffer fish inflates its self so it appears too large for predators to eat.My favourite fish was the Seahorse because they are very interesting and i learned that the male fish has special pouches to keep the eggs in until they are ready tro hatch,whilst my least favourite fish was the gold fish as there were no interestin facts about it.
I really enjoyed this book so read it you will really enjoy it as i did.

She is seven-three yers old and does not have much money.She would like to visit her son in Australia,but aeroplane tikets every expresive.Jason Williams buys lottery tikets every week too.but he is not a very nice yong man.He steals things.He hits old ladies in the street,snatches their bag and runs away....If you want to know more about this story read it...
I think that the book I was reading was very interesting about electricity and it has tought me alot about electricity.
It has shone me how much we use and need electricity in our planet and I think it is a very good book.
I have just read the non-fiction book called 'Gladiators'.The book tells you alot of facts about gladiators and also about ancient Rome and really important people.You also find out what age a lot of gladiators died at and how many fights a gladiator had in a year.There is another few intersting facts such as how they got to be gladiators and if it was only prisinors that only fought gladiators. That is all I am going to tell you about this interesting book and trust me there is alot more facts.I would definetely reccommend this book to anyone.

I thoght this book was really interesting because I am interested in football. My favourite character was Dave because he's really good at football. Karen got picked to go on the course called football magic but girls weren't allowed. Dave got chose in stead of her but he fell off the climbing frame and broke his leg. Karen got her hair cut short and went on the course pretending to be Dave. She won the cup and came home with a trophy for the best player on the course. I won't give away the ending so you will have to read and find out.

It's all a bit much for the thirteen year old but also kinda cool. If Tiffany doesn't find out what to do with him, there will never be another springtime. No fresh flowers. No baby lambs. Nothing to do with springtime, ever again.
My favourite characters were the Wee Free Men because they looked, acted and talked really funny.
This is the third part about Tiffany and the Wee Free Men who are helping Tiffany whether she likes it or not. It was a good story. 8/10

My book was about Egyptian life in 19 canteen which means many many years ago.IUt told me about things like the pyramids and how they were made,by the way the pyramids were made of mud and water mixed together which makes a stone texture like cement,it tolds me about hieroglyphics which was the first sorm of writing in Egypt,it tod me about marriage and if a women betrayed a man she was stoned to death and a male Egyptian could have as many wifes as they liked adn nothing wouild happen to them because in Egypt women are treated like second class citizens i know this because when i went the men wanted to give my dad 4 cammels for my mum and sister but we just wanlked on.I also learned about the River Nile the River Nile is the largest River in the world,when i was in Egypt i cruised it for 3 days it was an amazing experience.
I would definetely reccomend this book to people from the ages 10+

eruption on the 24 Augast 79 AD.The eruption was caised by an earthquake which caused the metal plates in the crust of the earth to move which pushed the magma in the magma chamber the escalate up the volano which destroyed Pompei.The eruption started out as little tremors which was making the magma as i described moving up the volcano.There is no fire without smoke when the ash was being catapulted out of the volcano black choking smoke which covered the small town.No-one could see where they were goin so that is what caused most of the deaths.When the lava was pouring out of the volcano the small town below was waiting for there caise of death to come.Everyone was screaming and didn't know what to do or where to go.Years later another eruption happened but there was no population in Pompei to cause any more deaths.Today the Mount Vesuvius the killing machine in Pompei (Rome) is still an alive
volcano.

The Pig Scrols is set in ancient greece and is about a Talking pig called Gryllus. It is a very funny book and it has loads of jokes about bacon. It also has loads of monsters from Greek Mythology like The Chimera which is a "Monster with the head of a lion,body of a goat,and the tail of a snake." The Heroes of the book are Gryllus,Sibyl and Bumscruff The Goat Boy whos vocabulary contains one word "Bek". This book is very funny and is a barrel of laughs you should read this book if you want a laugh.

This book is about a girl called Indigo. Her mum, her little sister, her mum's boyfriend and Indigo all live happy in a small house. Everythings fine until one evening...
Mum and her boyfriend have been fighting and mum has bruises on her face and there are boxes of clothes in the living room in the morning. She asks Indigo to wait for her after school and not to come home. At school she avoids her friends for the day and they wonder what's been going on. Indigo finally tells them that she thinks her and her family might be moving without her mum's boyfriend.
After school Indigo waited in the playground for her mum. When she finally arrived they went walking for miles and miles. They were obviously moving house, miles away from school and Indigo's friends.
Where were they moving to and why the hurry? How was mum going to afford a new house and where was all their clothes and belongings?
Find out in this tale of friendship and being there for one another. A good story form Cathy Cassidy. 9/10

I have just read this book and enjoyed.The book is about the inspirations of The Lord of the Rings.It tells you about things like Why are Tolkiens Elve's,Which monster attacked Tolkein in real life,What legend inspired the creation of Gollum and many more.It tells you how characters in Lord of the Rings are based on legends or myths.This was an informing book and anyone who is interested in Lord of the Rings.Other books in the series include The Magical Worlds of Harry Potter and the eyewitness collection that is a group of non-fiction books.Overall this book was good but was a bit boring.

This book is ok and I probably wouldn't read it again. Marc has to send a message out to Earth. Marc nearly gets caught but Sasha comes to the rescue. They both have to get to the outside world. Marc finds that even friends can't be trusted.
Jared, the officer, nearly kills Marc and Sasha with his taser. He shoots Sasha and she ends up in hospital.

I really enjoyed this book so read it you will enjoy it.

is a great book which I like.My favourite bit is when George tries to make a medicine with anything he can find. It is one of my favourite Rohld Dahl books ever.

"Private Peaceful" by Michael Morpurgo.
This book is more like a diary than a book. It's from the point of view of aboy called Tom Peaceful. This book is set during the First World War.
It's starts off when Thomas starts his first day of school. He walks to school with his big brother Charlie. Thomas meets Molly and hangs about with her. Molly goes to Thomas' house through the course of the story. Thomas, Molly and Charlie go poaching one day by the brook and catch loads of wonderful things. But one day they get caught and Molly isn't allowed to hang about with Charlie and Thomas anymore.
As the characters in the book get older more things happen. Thomas has to deliver and receive messages from Molly and Charlie and give them to one another. One day Molly goes to Thomas' house and is crying. When Charlie and Thomas get home from work, their mum tells them that Molly is expecting a baby. It's Charlie's baby. They sit in silence. Then Molly tells Charlie that he has to go to war or else the Colonel will take away their house. He decides to go and so does Thomas...
A very emotional tale about a boy and the war. 10/10

He has seen a lot of people die in his life and in this book he saw another death. This book is about magical demons that try to kill all the humans. The most evil person is called Lord Loss. He is the leader of all the demons. I won't tell you any more so you can read it.

I really like this book because it's about football and I like football. I learnt a lot in this book and 2 of my favourite players in it: Paul Gascoigne and Brian Laudrap. I learnt that Linfield won the League Champions, Irish Cup, Country Antrim Shield, Intermediate Cup, New Charity Cup and The Gold Cup all in the one season. I would definetily read a book like this again.

Whispers in the graveyard is about a boy called Solomon who is dyslexic and his dad started drinking when his mum left.He gets bullied at school and sometimes doesn't go to school at all.Instead he goes to the graveyard where he has a den where he has a blanket,water and food to eat.But one day the council start to tear down his den and discover a evil that Solomon only knew about.I really enjoyed this book and I would probably read another one of her books.

This was a brilliant book.You can't put it down once you start it.The book is about Gracie and her friend Daniel.One day they meet the birdman while they are sailing their boats and they find out that he isn't mad.He tells them that the island is cursed and tells them to stay away.Soon the kids are stranded on the island by fog.Gracie gets home and hears of a tragic death.She thinks the birdman could be right after all.I really enjoyed this book and would read a book by the same author.

I thought this book was very funny because Georges gran sent him to bed early and he was not to thrilled about it so before his gran comes up to bed he went into her room and took her medcines into the bathroom and emptied the won she really needed or she would be on t5he toilet all night and het put all of the other medcines in the one bottle and added a secret ingredient'mouthwash'.So when she came up the stairs she took the medcine then went to sleep and she woke up in the middle of the night and you know what happens next.

I found this book interesting beacause it told us different facts on each dinosaur that walked the earth.It also tells us what food they ate,some ate plants,some ate meat,and some ate other dinosaurs eggs.The most interesting fact was that dinosaurs all came from eggs and the book also told us that the largest dinosaur egg found was 12 inches long and it would take 60 chicken eggs just to fill it up but the size of an apatozaurus was about the leangth of 60 cars althout they could fight any dinosaur their size to find out more read the book
My book cult football was a good book which I enjoyed . I found it very interesting ,My favourite bit was when I found out that Pope John Paul 2 was a Goalkeeper for real Madrid.

This book is about a princess called Mia running for school president against the most popular girl in school. She is also having trouble with her boyfriend that's in college. Mia is all over the news because she dumped 10,000 South American snails in the Pacific ocean. Mia's life is all over the place right now.
Will Mia succeed in the school election? Will she make up with her boyfriend? And will she solve the crisis over the 10,000 snails?
I think this a great read for girls aged 12-15. A good book. 8/10

The Boook is about a girl who is in an orphanage and own of the people that work in the orphanage called John Grier gave her the chance to go to the college.The only thing that she must do is write to him every day and tell him how thing are and how she is getting on.Judy has lots of friends at collage and she gets realy close with a boy who is called Jervis Pendleton.After a while she forgets to write to John.

After the first couple of pages of the book i never wanted to put the book down at all i just wanted to keep reading and reading it was that interesting.The book told me about true stories like Ghost of the Ancient One,of which is about a young boy who wanted to be a Tribal Policeman and was believed to have been killed and then years later came back to haunt people.The book also told us about things like the great American Plains,reservations which is areas of land that belong to Native American commnities,The tribes and lots of other thing s like the Tipi.
I really enjoyed this book and i would deffinetely recommend it and i would deffinetely read something ofthe same genre.

This book is about a boy who is one of the most popular children.The boy went in a bath and saw thathe had a wart on his kneen.Then nobuddy wanted to be friends with him because he had a wart on his keen.His mum took him to the docters and he got a special cream to put on his wart so that it will go away.
I think that tjis book could of have been improved by adding more pitureds and using more vocabulary.
I would read this book again as i thought that it was really good except the words that were used were easy to understand and there was no challanging words in the book at all which made the book ever easy.

"The Garbage King" by Elizabeth Laird.
This book is about 2 boys named Dani and Mamo. The setting is in Ethiopias's capital city. The 2 boys are COMPLETELY different from each other. Dani has a great, big mansion with loads of servants whereas Mamo doesn't really have a home.
Both boys are on the run. Dani is on the run for trying to get away from a terrible father and Mamo is escaping a life of slave labour.
But now, both boys have met up and their only chance of survival is to trust each other.
This book is very appealing to all ages and I found it very interesting. 9/10.
My book is called squabbling squads. The book is very good and it is about a bunch of pupils who start a football team at school and the boys don't want the girls to play because they think they will ruin it for them.
Anyway I think this is a fabulous book and you should read it to.

I liked this book because it described the emotions running through the family at various difficult times.

Soon they head to the Cirque Du Freak.This was overall a great book and anyone who likes Darren Shan should read it.

"Going Straight" is about a boy called Luke. Luke was a thief. His plan was strsight forward and simple. Anything he wanted he gor from stealing it. He didn't always need what he stole and what he didn't use, Luke would sell it.
His ways start to change when he meets a blind girl named Jodi. She might be blind but see can clearly see where Luke's life is going.
After Jodi tells Luke her ambition that only he can fulfil, Luke decides to abide by the law and stop stealing.

He took the little dog inside and told his mum she said that he could keep it as long as he promised if the owner came looking for it he would give it back. He said ok. But noboddy ever came for that little dog.

The book I was reading was called Vampire Mountain By Darren Shan.
The book was about a boy called Darren and Mr Creepsly embark on a very dangerous trek the heart of a vampire World,but they face more than the cold on the Vampire Mountain.The Vampanzees were there before them.They Destroyed just about everything in there path.
They got kidnapped by the vampanzees,and they got taken to a cage of which was like a hole 4ft deep and the breadth was about 5ft and it had bars keeping them in.The Vampanees turn them into Vampires as they wanted but after a while they did not like it at all but as they were being turned into Vampires the were told only The Princess Vampire Can restore there Human side.
Will the Princess Vampire choose to keep them vampires or turn them into humans again?Only one thing is certain-Darren's initiation into the Vampires Clan was much more Deadly than he ever imagined...

A book i have been reading at home called The boys annual is about lots of different Quizzes,Facts,Did You Knows,Songs and StoriesOutdoors Stuff,Jokes etc..
I thought this book was brilliant.I got it for Christmas and read it on Boxing Day and couldn't put it down because it was that good.It had lots of Practical Jokes to do to your siblings i.e. like set the alarm clock 2 hours earlier,put jelly on there bedroom door-handle etc...
It also tells you about Come Backs with-out being very nasty like:Does your Face hurt?Because it is Killing me,you are the living proof of a Village Missing the Idiot.
My Most Favourite thing in the book was the 'Survival Guide'.It tells you how to make a safe fire(but you had to be supervised),how to build a tent and where was the best type of spot for a tent,Keep your food in a high place because animals would be in your tent if not and not to take candles because they are to dangerous in a tent.
Here is a Puzzle for you: A milkman has two empty fugs-a three litre jug and a five litre jug.How can he measure out exactly two litres of milk without wasting any ?
I really liked this book and i can't wait to get "The Boy's Annual 2009"

A book i have been reading lately to my little cousin is called Beauty And The Beast.
The book was about a a girl(Belle)and her dad(Maurice).
Maurice goes through the woods to a big castle to find a invention Covention.But ends up in a Castle.He goes in and is welcomed by Lumiere the Chandelier and Cogsworth The clock and Mrs Teapot and make him tea and he rests on the beasts chair.The beast comes in and basically Kicks up a stink,and puts Maurice in the dungeon in the Castle.Then Belle starts to get worried after a few days and decides to go and find her dad.She also ends up at the castle and entres without beig invited.Nobody knows that she has entred.She automatically goes up the stairs.The dungeons were up the stairs and Belle sees her dad.She started to talk to her dad and the Beast came up the Stairs.Belle Says to the Beast to let him go and put her in the dumgeon and the Beast says very well.She ends up in the dungeon.
She is in there for a few days and the Beast gets to know her and they fall out and the Beast goes out for a stroll and gets attacked by wolves.He runs home and Belle Cleans him up.The Beast Syarted to fall in love with Belle and Belle falls in love with the Beast too.
The Beasts helpers like Mrs Teapot,Chip(Mrs Teapots Daughter)Lumiere,Cogsworth,Babette and Mrs Wardrobe Help make the beast look lovely and do the same for Belle because Belle And The Beast are going on a date.
A man called Gaston loves Belle too,and Gaston tries to kill the Beast but the Beast Wins the Battle and almost half one the war too.Nearer Gaston turns the Village against The Beast and they try to kill the beast rather hurt him.Gaston And The Village win the Battle,But Belle still wants to Be With the bedast to The Beast wins the War.
The Beast almost died at the end,but he turns back into a prince and lived happily after with Belle.

The Beauty:Her name is Belle and her age 17. Long, brown and curly hair. She loves to read and needs something more exiciting than her provincial life.

The book is about things to do and try from How to Perform Magic to,How to Shave.
I thought that this book was brilliant and full of facts.My favourite thing in this book was hot to insult someone and get away with it.It tells words like:

This book was very funny,interesting and good to read.

Ive just read 'the great ghost rescue' by Iva Ibbotson and it is about a ghost called humphrey...whom is not that scary, instead of being a ghastly ghoul or a scary skeleton... he's pink and fluffy like a summers day cloud. also, his brother whos a screaming skull, is perfect, or his dad, who has stumps for legs and a sword through his chest. or his mother who is a skeleton! or even his vampire cousins!. will anyone be able to help humphrey scream, and scare people away? will anyone!
this is goodm for anyone who likes funny, slightly-sinister stories!!!!!!
I hav recently been reading the diary entrys by anne frank the diary of a Young Girl
this book is very interesting especcially at the part where she is in hiding and the door goes the feeling is very tence
I like this story because it is very short enerys and is easier to read so if you like facts aswell as me then
