"Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows" by JK Rowling.
This book was the last of 7 Harry Potters. It is an absolutely brilliant end to an brilliant series.

The series is about a boy called Harry Potter. Harry potter is a known as "The Boy Who Lived" because of the fact he is the only person to survive the killing curse(AVADA KADAVRA) let alone the wrath of (The evil Sorcerer )Lord Voldemort. Accompanied by his best friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, he sets off to do the mission that the worlds greatest sorcerer (Albus Dumbledore)to find and destroy Lord Voldemorts Horcruxes (Powerful magical objects which store a part of your soul)so that he can ultimately defeat him.

I would not recommend this book for people who have not read all of the other Harry Potter books but if you have its an absolute crime not to read it so READ IT.

"Weird Happenings" by Kaye Umansky

This book was about a young boy called Pinchton. Pinchton's mum and dad want him to come with them to his aunt and uncle's house, but Pinchton wants to stay at home but regrets it when the mysterious weirds next door invite themselves into his home.

I didn't really enjoy this book because I thought it was a bit too childish, however small children would love it.

My book was called "Doctor Who" "Aliens and Enimies" by Justin Richards.

In this book Justin Richards tells us what the enimes are and who the enimes are. Also in this book it is all the doctors from dotor one all the way through to the tenth doctor. This is another book to Justins Richards book Monsters and Villians which is an older version to this book and it has the ninth doctor who is played by Christopher Eccleston. The temth doctor is played by David Tennent. In this book we find out how the Doctor defeated the axons a horrible monster from the fifth Doctor, we find out why the cybermen are so dangerous, hoiw the krillitanes were vanished, and we learn all the secrets of the new earth and how it was made. We also hear about the Daleks and why they were made. In the first epesode of the ninth Doctor it was the window shop dummies, which were just dummies who got human brains in there head. They went all around the city killing inocent people. In the book it tells you who put the brain in there head and why. All the pictures in the book are photographs of what happens in the real epesodes on the television and the designs in the book were all drawings and ideas of what they would look like if they were on the television the first time they were made. There is pictures of all the old series of when Sarah Jane was in Doctor Who and the first picture of her when she first came into the Doctor Who series. So all the book is about is all the eniemes and aliens, all the things you need to know about all his enemies and his deadliest foes. So you better be carefull.

I think this book would be good for people who likes Doctor Who so read the book now.

I have just finnished reading "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" by C.S Lewis.

I liked this book. I prefer the book to the film because the book tells you more information.

This book is about four children called Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy. Lucy finds a wardrobe and decides to hide in it during a game of hide and seek. She tries to get tho the back of the wardrobe but she cant find it. Then she finds the lampost and the adventure begins.

I really enjoyed the end of the book because the children have lived in Narnia for most of their lives and then they go back through the wardrobe and they are children again.

This book is brilliant, and i would recomened it to anyone that enjoys reading.

My book is called "Skateboarding is not a crime" by James Davis.

This book os all about skateboards. All the information in this book is about how skatebords were made who were the first people to use them when they first came into the country. Skateboarding is an all round the world hobbie. It was first made from a long piece of wood and people just stuck wheel on the bottom of the wood. In the skateboarding book there is a picture of two priests going on the old skatebords and that picture was taking in 1899 that is how old the skateboards are.

The skateboards first came into the country in the 1940's. All the people wanted one and so they got one. Skateboards back then cost about £20-£30. In modern skateboards now a days cost £30-£50.

I think the book to me i liked it but people who do not like skateboarding would not like the book. The best part of the book is seeing all the the tricks and grinds.

Chicken Angel:- Chicken Angel has Two Wing like things sticking of of her back.

Cough Cough:- Cough Cough has very small lungs and cannot breathe properly.

Lights Out:- Lights out is blind and she cannot speak properly. She Must have a doll with her at all times to feel safe.

The hospital gets called the 'Bin' by the nurses that work with them.

This book would probably be better for readers in third year but if your confident enough to read it just now go ahead but you might not understand it that well.

My book was called "A series of unfortunate events" and it was by Lemony Snickets.

This book is about three children whose parents have died in a house fire. This is the second last book in the thirteen series. The three children are called Violet, Klaus and sunny who were fostered by an evil man called "Count Olaf". Who makes the children do chores like fixing the porch. In this book the three children are undercover in a hotel trying to spy on twins and the catch is one of them is good and the other one is bad.

The person that is looking after the three children is a woman who is pregnant and she can not do very many things. So the children have to look after themselves and do missions themselves.

"Lord Loss" by Darren Shan.

Do you like suspense, action, torment, chess(yes, chess), demons, weird dog things, and most importantly-the idea of covering your elder sibling with rat guts?

This is a tale of a typical teenager called Grubbs who's family for some unknown reason is obsessed with chess. When he plays a mean joke on his sister involving rat guts and an on-suite bathroom (need I say more?) his family react in an unusual manner. His mum starts crying and his dad screams uncontrollably at him. He is confined to his room for 5 weeks but 2 weeks into his punishment his sister buys him a football shirt and he is allowed out of his room. His mum and dad sit playing endless games of chess and his sister, Gret just sits in silence just like when his gran died. He is told he is going to stay at his aunts while they go to the ballet but he notices something is wrong when they all start crying when he goes out of the door. He gets to his aunt's house where there isn't even a TV and decides enough is enough and sneaks out of the house. He walks the 3 miles to his house and goes inside. He finds his chess board in 2 pieces on the floor with deep finger nail grooves down it. He runs up to his room and finds it trashed. He puts his ear up against his parents door and hears crackling. He throws open the door and finds every child's nightmare. His mum, dad and sister hung upside down with their heads torn cruelly off. Behind them are 3 demons. All hungry. All carnivorous. Can Grubbs Grady survive this ordeal??? Read Lord Loss to find out!!!

Absolutely Amazing Book!!!!!!!
I've said before that certain books are the best books I've ever read, but this time I really mean it. This is the first Darren Shan Book I've ever read and it is the first in the Demonata Series. After I've read this series I'm goging to start the first one because based on this boo, his books are the BEST EVER!!!!!!!!!!!

A MUST READ!!!!!

"Goodnight Mister Tom" by Michelle Magorian.

London is poised on the brink of World War 11. Timid, scrawny Willie Beech -- the abused child of a single mother -- is evacuated to the English countryside. At first, he is terrified of everything, of the country sounds and sights, even of Mr. Tom, the gruff, kindly old man who has taken him in.

But gradually Willie forgets the hate and despair of his past. He learns to love a world he never knew existed, a world of friendship and affection in which harsh words and daily beatings have no place.

Then a telegram comes. Willie must return to his mother in London. When weeks pass by with no word from Willie, Mr. Tom sets out for London to look for the young boy he has come to love as a son.

The two main adults in this story, the mother and Mr. Tom, seem quite similar in the beginning. Yet, by the end, we see that they are completely different. What really hit home was this: hard times can make hard people, but one's true colors shine through when faced with others in need.

Mr. Tom's gruff exterior is only his exterior. He's really got a warm heart, which he opens up to Willie and shows him the love that's supposed to be in a family.

Mr. Tom's gruff exterior is only his exterior. He's really got a warm heart, which he opens up to Willie and shows him the love that's supposed to be in a family.

We don't actually see the abuse, we see the end result...which, in my opinion, is far more powerful. I felt terrible for Willie at the end of this book, and cheered Mr. Tom for doing everything he could to save this poor boy. When children are old enough to understand the results of abuse, every family should read this book.

My book was called Living with Vampires by Jeremy Strong.

The story is about a boy called Kevin Vladd and his parents are vampires. He also is ment to be a vampire but for some strange reason he isnt all he wants is a normall life with human parents. His parents are level three vampires this means they wander about during daylight.they suck blood but they cant kill anyone. There victims usually faint and when they wake up they cant remember a thing. The worst thing grade three vampires can do is turn people into zombies but even that wears off after a while. When his parents come to parents night kevin is petrefied that his parents will eat his teacher but that is exactly what happens.Kevin has a main rivial in the story his name is Grant.Kevin and Grant both love the same girl thats why they hate each another the girl is the nicest looking in the school her name is Miranda Nightingale. At the end of the book there is a school dance and Kevins mum and dad are coming to it this worries Kevis because they could turn everybody into zombies.Luckely enough that he has thought of a plan to stop them doing this he hypnotises them.At the school dance Miranda said she would dance with him. When he goes up to her to ask her to dance he notices that everybody is a zombie he thought it was his parents that done it but it wasnt it was Miranda. She has been a grade three vampire all along and nobody knew it but Kevin still loves her.I think that this book has a great storyline and everybody should like this book.

***********************************

This book is a spine tingler a real sitting off the edge of your seat kind of thing. The book is all about satanism and possession. This book is also a bestseller film which i have watched 1 million time and i still think it is a really good film..

It all starts off as one big happy family a mother and her daughter called "Regan" and when she plays with an ougia board she starts to hear voices from a ghost called Captain Howdy. Then some time after they hear wierd sounds coming from regans bedroom, and wierd smells coming from the house.

When Regans mother is in her bed she starts to hear strange noises coming from the attic, so she gets up and goes in the attic but then the noises starts to come from down stairs... When Regans mother is down stairs having a party for her first movie she made Regan comes down stairs and she starts saying things she isnt actually say because it is the ghost controling her. So when her mum puts her back to bed and her mum is walking down stairs Regan starts to scream so her mum starts to run back to her and Regans bed is jumping up and down in mid air...

After all that Regan gets tests on her but there is nothing wrong with her so it must be possession...

Near the end of the book a priest called Damien Karras comes in to try and do an exorcism with another priest but it doesnt work... So at the end of the book Damien Karras grabbs the possesed girl and throws her to the floor so shouts "Take me not her, take me" so the devil comes out of Regan and goes into the priest and then the priest jumps out Regans window and just below her window there are lots and lots of steep stairs and he falls down them all and then he dies... So once he is dead Regan and her mum move out of the city and move away..

I think this book will be good for teenagers who like horror...

I give this book a 10/10... A really good book.

My book is called Why The Whales Came in by Michael Morpurgo. It is about a man that is called a Birdman and everyone says he is cursed. However he is not cursed but he does have a blind dog with a lot of birds because he feeds them. These two boys built him a boat and they are not allowed to tell their parents incase they accuse the Birdman of cursing them. Their parents keep asking if they have been up there and telling stories about him. Gracie's dad calls the Birdman 'Bird' when he is angry. The boys go up to visit him and they miss school and sometime they can't visit because their dad takes them fishing. Their mum suspects that they are up to something but she doesn't tell. The boys writes notes on wood so that old man can understand.
Rob's house gets burned down and everyone blamed the Birdman but Gracie and Daniel didn't believe the stories. Eventually the villagers begin to believe Gracie and Daniel about the birdman and the fact that he is a nice man. Some people also go up and see him while some still blamed him for what happened. They are throw a party at the village and the Birdman gets involved, bringing some bread down.
I think first years would enjoy this book because it is excellent and I really enjoyed it!
